Ability1st - Empowering Independent Living

Ability1st, the Center for Independent Living for North Florida, assists individuals in obtaining durable medical equipment, incontinence products, and other supplies necessary to better manage their disability. We also build ramps and steps, helping individuals with mobility challenges gain better access in and out of their homes. When individuals with disabilities are provided these critical services and feel empowered to live more independently, they can improve their quality of life. This is why the program is called Access to Independence.
